Thanks The_Return and ManchestrMorgue. I picked it up on a double feature dvd with the hunchback (both on a silent classics dvd). I look forward to watching it this weekend.
Hunchback of Notre Dame is a great movie too...not as good as Caligari IMO, but still great. You should also check out the Lon Cheney version of Phantom of the Opera if you havent already seen it...probably my favourite silent film, I love it.

Hostel, I know a lot of you don't really like it but I reckon it's excellent!
Porn of the dead.........hmmm bit different.

I loved Hostel...or more the last half...the part that was a horror. Took too long getting to the story...then it was over too fast. Excellent idea though...and great scenes. I was almost thinking in Porn of The Dead you were referring to the first half of Hostel lol...

:p

Office Space - again,

had friends over last night and they wanted to see it ..

also ... watched the last of the Futurama episodes tonight :(

time for the withdrawls to start ..

one thing is that every single episode has a commentary so at least i can go back and watch them all again with that turned on.

The Da Vinci Code

I my Goooooood was that movie boring.

There were five or six high school kids walking behind us, and they couldn't stop gushing about how much they loved the movie.

"Oh man, that movie was so great! It was just like the book, and I looooved the book. It's so non-stop action, and so was the movie! For realz! Oh my gawd!"

I just wanted to turn around and tell them that the book was overblown dribble and the movie was long-winded boredom.

I saw The DaVinci Code, and I thought it was great. I had never read the book, and I am glad that I hadn't because usually the movie never compares to the book. I will check out the book now. I can understand that the movie is definitely not for everyone. It is a movie that makes you think and also challenges the beliefs most were raised on. Anyways, I loved and would recommend ti to everyone. I am not a high school kid. I am 36, so it is not an age thing. Just my opinion.

The Hillside Strangler:

Brutal. Up there with Ted Bundy as a brilliant serial killer film.

See No Evil

Nothing special. Some cool kill scenes, though. I'll give it a 3.5/5 rating.

Intruder....... AWESOME stuff

Serial Mom

Hadn't seen it in a while. Kathleen Turner is just awesome in this movie. I've always loved JW ficks, though, so I may be biased. There are still plenty of parts that make me laugh out loud.
Psst...Juror #7 is wearing white shoes after Labor Day!! 8.5/10

Unspeakable

I don't know where to begin...I don't think I've ever seen a movie try quite so hard to be a mindfuck and fail so miserably. Dennis Hoppers character was just awful. Even the great Lance Henriksen couldn't salvage this movie. The killer was so over-the-top it was nauseating. Blech. Don't waste your time. 2/10
