Ironically enough I think it was Carolina getting smoked in game 6 that got the Oilers smoked in 7. They came out strong with their crowd going crazy from the national anthem straight through to the end. After the first three minutes of the game they had 2 minutes and 19 seconds of attack time, 5 hits and a 1-0 lead. Carolina took their frustration out on 'em hard and early, Edmonton just couldn't recover. Having said that, I do firmly believe that if the game was played in Edmonton the Oilers would've won the cup.

NBA Finals game 6.

The Heat took their first title in franchise history and I do mean took. They went down 2 games to 0, then handed Dallas their first 4 game losing streak since 2003. Dewayne Wade won the Finals MVP and rightfully so, that guy's amazing.

Just finished watching the NHL awards.

Alexander Ovechkin won the rookie of the year as he should've. All the fuss about Sidney Crosby being ''The next one'' took all the spotlight off the rest of the rookies, don't get me wrong Crosby is damn good but Ovechkin is better, simply as that.

Cool to see Lindstrom win Outstanding Defensiveman again too.

watched family guy last night. and it was so funny because we had no power and were using a generator. so naturally we plug the tv in. lol. but there was a part where there was a flashback and this guy was like "Look at Edison and his damn electricity."
