How about less (male) crying and people actually fighting back and killing a zombie once in a while.

Yes because in real life, we'd all turn into badass zombie killing machines instead of pissing ourselves in a corner

Saw Get Out last night. It was fucking great. Really smart, really ballsy, and at the end, pretty damn brutal too. I'm blown away that it was by a first-time director (Jordan Peele). Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams were really incredible - Actually, the whole cast was. I love seeing an incredibly angry, smart, socially conscious movie with a definite opinion and 0 fucks to give. Definitely recommended.

Been wanting to see that one for awhile. Probably have to wait until i find a torr......it comes out on blu-ray ::big grin::

really....didn't think there was an over abundance of "male crying". Hell...put me in that situation and I'll be balling like a baby. As far as killing zombies, I don't think most people on a commuter train would be equipped for the task. It's not like they were all packing ....also these were not your typical "Walking Dead" zombies shuffling along waiting for someone to stick em in the head with a knife.

I'm sure once this gets in the hands of a Michael Bay you will get all the shooting and blowing up male testosterone you crave.....and not a tear shed by any of the he-men.

In real life there are no zombies.
And if you care about realism, statistically speaking it wouldn't be weird that someone was either brave or crazy enough to fight them. Or at least try.

I think the (male) crying might be an Asian thing. There was also some in The Wailing.

No need to twist my words and make the assumption that I want a Michael Bay type of movie.

I would think there would be a lot in "The Wailing". Which is also in my queue.

GODS AND MONSTERS (1998). Great film detailing the last days of James Whale, director of FRANKENSTEIN (****1/2), BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (*****), THE INVISIBLE MAN (*****) and THE OLD DARK HOUSE (***-not really too crazy about this but the wife loves it). Wonderful turns by Ian McKellan, Brendan Fraser and Lynn Redgrave (who deserved an Oscar for this, in my opinion).
While it plays a little loose with the facts, still very much seeing and would make a good companion piece to ED WOOD (1994). ****1/2

Clearly i meant if they were real. Didn't realize i needed to state that. Theres a difference between one person being brave enough to fight and absolutely everyone being macho badasses who show no emotion to monsters come to life. I think its fine to show people who are justifiably scared

Don't you think it's possible to fight back without being an emotionless macho badass?

Clearly i exaggerated your point. It just seemed like a silly complaint to me
