Check out the Lone Cub and Wolf series which is the original series that was cut and compressed to make that movie.

Just picked up some Christmas decor with the wife, including the three ghosts from Mickey's Christmas Carol to display.

I watched one season on TV and I really liked it but they moved it to Sundays after that and I had a commitment that night. I now own seasons 1 though 6
I will be buying 7 soon. Then as I make my way through that 8 and of course last but not least 9.

I like watching good TV shows so much better these days . I now just wait for the shows I like to come out on DVD.

How much did they cost you? I'm looking on DDD and they have seasons 1-8 buy one get one free and they run about $30.

Roderick Usher 11-30-2006 03:59 PM

All right, I know this will seem out-of-place in this thread but I am stunned by the number of DVDs all of you seem to buy. I'm not putting it down, it just seems very wierd to me.

So help me figure this out, please?

How much, on average would you say you spend on DVDs a month?

What percentage of your DVDs (and/or VHS/Laserdisc) are blind buys?

I'd never buy something blind. But I go to the theater at least twice a month - which I'm sure sounds wierd to a lot of you.

Thanks

tcardenas 11-30-2006 04:28 PM

oh man, per month? a lot. a frick of a lot on dvds. uh, this month.. probably at least $60. i dont buy things ive never seen that much. once in a while ill buy something i havent seen.. but usually i make sure ive at least rented it. but.. yeah. i love movies.

and, no. i dont have the dr phibes double feature. thats actually on my list to get next.

i dont smoke (anything) and dont drink ..
DVDs and junk collectables are the only things i spend money on for myself..

hardly any are blind buys..I either know the movie, have heard of the movie, or trust the names involved in the movie.

i used to spend so much a month on DVDs i'm embarrased to say it here,
i have calmed down quite a bit .. trying to save money for some other objectives, plus - i dont have any more room. I only buy something now if its pretty special (or i find it dirt cheap)

before we had a kid we went to the theatre at least once a week .. saw everything that came.
now we go a couple of times a month - to see kids movies.

Signing up for Zip has already saved me a ton of money on buying DVDs. I used to buy EVERYTHING that I wanted to see, ow I just rent. I've spent about $30 on buying DVDs this month...used to be more than that every week.

EarthSlayer 11-30-2006 05:30 PM

Santa's Slay

I spend probably $60.00 a month on DVDs. I do buy things I haven't seen and want to see because they looked good to me or I have heard things about them that I think I will like , sometimes I will buy something I have no idea about . Almost all the DVDs I buy are used or dirt cheap off the internet unless it is a movie I really love or a concert DVD then I will buy it new but, I will still ususally look for the best price I can find.
