The Last Broadcast (1998)
Pretty solid mockumentary that predates The Blair Witch Project. It's basically a glorified episode of Dateline, but it's still interesting, suspenseful, and creepy. Recommended if you like investigation shows like Dateline.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
A+ Love this movie!! I just caught it at the theater today. Beautiful scenery, great battles, awesome acting, nicely added humor, and so on. I hated to see the trilogy end; same way I felt about LOTR. I love Peter Jackson and I hope he continues to make movies that I truly enjoy. |

I think the best super hero films I've ever seen are: Spiderman II (2004) Superman (1978) X-Men Days of Future Past (2014) X-Men (2000) Others have been entertaining, but I thought those were exceptional. Have you seen any of these? What did you think? Quote:

Why do you guys buy so many films? |
To jump in on the superhero conversation, my favorite is The Avengers. I watch it over and over.
And, I have the same requirement as horcrux when buying movies. If I know I'll watch it again, I'll buy it. Every once in a while, I'll go through my DVDs, and, if there are any that don't interest me anymore, I'll take them to 2nd & Charles. |
A Good Marriage (2014)

The lead actor on the title role (Dan Stevens) got a good look & promising talent that can launch him a bright careen in Hollywood in coming days; even some part of the British media already starts to speculating about their next choice for 007! >>: B+ |

I wouldn't waste my money on a movie I'd never watch again.
Anyway, the only superhero movies I like are Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, The Dark Knight, and Guardians of the Galaxy. I hated The Avengers. |

The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)
Mockumentary about a serial killer who films the abduction, torture, and murder of his victims.
Pretty fucked up stuff they showed... the movie itself was pretty interesting, scary, and creepy. Recommended if you can handle pretty gruesome and dark types of movies. 7/10 |
A LONELY PLACE TO DIE
a kidnap hunam trafficing tale set in the scottish highlands, well paced, full of tension with good performances 8/10
|
AMERICAN MUSCLE
a tale of revenge between 2 brothers after one goes to jail for 10 years. pretty much non stop beating, shooting, slashing and killing for 90 minutes 7/10

The Conjuring.
Not bad. |
The Collection (2012)
Second viewing. Still a pretty good movie. I would love more sequels. Quote:

No, it was my thoughts about it. I might have changed the window without posting?

ELVIRA'S HAUNTED HILLS 2001
Pretty goofy stuff but lots of fun. On their way to Paris, Elvira and her maid spend the night in a castle filled to the brim with horror galore! |
The Last Days On Mars (2013)
Starts out alright but goes downhill fast. Too bad. Couple of known actors, cool scenery/locations, but the story was just stupid and unoriginal. |

Come Back to Me (2014) http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps45d099e0.jpg Based on a 2009 novel The Resurrectionist by Wrath James White, though a major twisted key element in this 'Super psycho' flick may sound as silly as any good-old 80s horror movie but still I thought it was decently entertaining. Even loved that final twist at the very end! >>: B+ Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow (2014) http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps042a0845.jpg Always been fond of movies featuring Time loop concept. Liked it too but didn't completely satisfied with the ending here. Probably the way they destroyed The Omega kinda reminded me of Pacific Rim finale which I liked too but this similarity bugged me somehow! Anyway, here's a list on wikipedia about films featuring time loops . Surprised to see that it didn't include 1945 horror anthology Dead of Night, which even inspired Fred Hoyle's theory of Steady State model of the universe, developed in 1948. >>: B+ Quote:
