Definitely... And so incredibly alienated... The world just became too big for him (literally). Definitely speaks to feelings of isolation and alienation in an ever modernizing world.

Definitely made me feel oddly melancholy when I saw it when I was younger...


We have Night of the Hunter sitting on our counter (came in fresh from NetFlix). Should watch it soon.
