Mine was...IMDB...Look for oldest date...Make sure they aren't documentaries or shorts...Look for 'horror', 'suspense' or 'thriller' in description...Check google adding the word 'first' to the title...

All with a few other things added in here and there...But...Didn't help much after all

Oh well...That's what's fun about this...The variables...Not being able to tell for sure what's going to happen :)

Lol I did the same as Chrono, and I think I did pretty well on my own, I know I got the TRex one wrong, and I think I may have gotten the same year ones wrong too.

Yeah... When I started out, my plan was to find the actual release month and order those who were in the same year, but by the time I got ALL the dates written down, I realized that I had been at this for a while and now that I share my office with the New Guy felt guilty for not getting legitimate work done (which is OBVIOUS when you're surfing IMDB) and decided to shoot in what I had and get back to work.

And then hoped that V wasn't looking for release months. :o

I didn't even get mine finished, I've had a big weekend and just sent what I had this morning..

HA!...Same here...But, I was thinking "By the time I do all of that, it won't matter anyway because I'll be one of the last ones in and won't have a chance to begin with"...lol

Wooohoo, Not Last Place!

wow - when i saw the answers i figured i was screwed. i didn't know about some of the silent versions - but there are still a couple that could be quibbled over - but since i'm a hunter i make no arguments

although - i'll admit at one point thinking V was being very tricky with the phrase 'silver screen.' that phrase wasn't coined until about 1924 when a theater owner in ohio tried silver metallic paint on his white screen to get better projection - the technique and phrase caught on and that's why it's the silver screen - so if you followed the question in a strict sense anything before 1924 was not 'on the silver screen.'

still - great show V - another real brain bender and proof that there is a lot more to horror than just splatter and gore (not that i mind splatter and gore).

now - when do i get to kill someone??? (oh - and can we get a health status report before the hunt begins!)

ROUND 13 - THE HUNTING SEASON


The 9 contestants who lost Challenge #13 have been sent into The Zone unarmed.

I address all designated Hunters - Despare, The Return, Newb, Zero & Urgeok - you 5 will be doing your own style and choice of hunting in the Zone yourselves.

First of all, remember that The Predator lurks somewhere in The Zone. You five have to send me your choice of the sector he prowls in - Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Omega & Theta. No two of you can make the same choice, or all 5 of you stand to receive a full plasma blast from The Predator.

Secondly, you CANNOT FIRE at a fellow Hunter. If you so choose, your weapon will lock up, then all 5 of you stand to be SHOT FIFTEEN TIMES by the Snipers in The Watchtowers!!

Now...let's have a look at the weapon you 5 will be using in this Round...

Hey V, ya know how you have the current challenge link in your sig? Maybe it would be a good idea to put a link to the current hp link too. I just figure it could be useful, and the idea just came to me.

Silly Monkey, you just send in the sector, and whoever sent in the wrong one gets shot by the predator.

You send in your choice of ONE sector (out of those 5) in which you are guessing the Predator lurks, alongwith your choice of targets for your bullets.

What I do, is this - I PM an independent member (picked at random) - and ask them their choice. What they choose, stands as The Predator's hideout. The one among you who chose THAT sector, stands to get blasted.

Ummmm, I know I'm probably in a bad position to ask this, but are the hunters allowed to use whatever guns they have from rewards too?

if one of the hunters can survive 15 shots (easily) and knows another couple of hunters cant, they should try to shoot another hunter. Killing several birds without even throwing the stone.

Ah, the 'Don't shoot plan'...That would actually only kill Despare...

If they DO shoot...They can take out 2 people completely...And wound 3 others pretty good (Zero could make that 3 kills with his extra arsenal)

That's if no one donates any health packs to anyone, of course

Rayne, I worked out their best strategies, I'll pm them to you. I figured you'd like to see, plus I wanna correct you. :P

What I said is based on if they don't split shots...

We are individual players now.

If they DID split shots, Return or Zero could take 2 people, but it would be the same 2 people, and the others wouldn't be able to take them then...They would have only one other possible kill to choose, and only be able to wound the rest (unless they work together on one person).

Yes it may be simpler but, the fact that Zero openly stated for the other hunters to read their email, means that more than likely they would be working together to ensure that the most people where wiped out. Because less people means more of a chance for you to win. Its kinda obvious Rayne...:p

The gates were re-opened an hour back, and all 5 hunters trudged back in...smiling, and very satisfied. One of them had endured The Predator's blast, and was patched up by his Health Packs...lucky to be alive.

Then came in the rest of the contestants - panting, out of breath, cuts everywhere...
