For example, it's not very often in this kind of film to see the main girl turned into "a head on a stick" so close to the end.

8.5/10 [/B]

i don't remember, but we don't actually "see" it do we ? if so, then i must've watched a completely different version altogether.

I just saw Hostel tonight. It is very gory and has lots of T & A. I really enjoyed it. It even has a cameo by a very famous Japanese Horror master. I can see the influence he had on this director. If you like gore and suspense, then check it out.

Fun with Dick & Jane
I thought it was an entertaining comedy, definitely worth seeing.

Hostel
I was so excited... I think I set my expectations a bit high. I wanted to be disturbed and have to turn away, but I just didn't get that. I still loved the movie though... I look forward to Hostel 2, but hope there's a few less breasts.

Did you notice the "love making" music was from the Wicker Man?

We got to see most of it in the version I saw...he attacked her from behind in the car, started explaining about the "head on a stick", we see him stab her again and run the knife up he spine. Then she just falls over and stares straight into the eyes of her killer...
