Nationwide, baby. Circuit City, too. Circuit City's is better.

Just got to the website and click on "weekly ad" to see what all they have.

So Ive offically learned that nowhere here in town carries Pick Me Up other than Wal-Mart, which I very rarely have a chance to get to (On the other side of town + no licence yet)

I did, however, pick up a few movies while searching for it in other stores today:

- Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
- Stealth
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- The Fog [Remake]

Before you all jump down my throats about the last one, I havent seen it yet + it was free. Blockbuster has a Buy-2-Get-1-Free deal going on, I had Stealth and Eternal Sunshine in my hand...figured what the hell. Might as well see if it really is as bad as everyone says.

I'd rather have nothing than a free copy of that piece of shit.

Lucky.

All the good stores here are like a 15 minute drive...I have Blockbuster and Zellers within walking distance, but I very rarely get out to FutureShop or Wal-Mart:(

That's fucking mad...vhs is still fun, horror feels at home there somehow.

Haven't bought any vids/dvds in ages, I might hit up a second hand bookstore today, maybe grab some old comics, cooking stuff, vhs, cds...

Latest thing I bought? qtr ounce for myself and a few select.

The Mothman 10-25-2006 06:15 PM

Bone Sickness $17

Super Badass $2.50

Terror Firmer $9

Phalanx 10-25-2006 06:21 PM

Got my latest blockbuster "If I don't like them, I can give them away, come Christmas" sale items.
6 dvds for $60AUD ($45.67USD), Ex rental, but like, really new ones.
She got: Jarhead, Hustle and Flow, Underworld Evolution
I got: The Man, Legend of Zorro, Derailed.

Haven't seen anything prior out of this lot but Jarhead, which was pretty solid.
The selection wasn't all that great this time around, but I guess we did what we usually did, picked up things that we had some mild interest in seeing, but didn't wanna foot the full price for.

urgeok 10-25-2006 06:35 PM

the man with eugene levy ?

if so - its predictable - but still a lot of fun..

Hustle and Flow was better than I was expecting. Not fantastic or anything, but better than you'd think.

Phalanx 10-25-2006 06:43 PM

Yeah, that's the one...I just think Levy's a funny guy, I've liked his stuff since way back when I first saw (?was it?) Armed and Dangerous? Just his general mannerisms make me laugh.
Not exactly expecting comedy gold, but yeah, I'm sure there'll be some funny moments.

Woah, man. Settle down. You're at fault here for insulting someone's opinion, which is stupid and ignorant.

Why do you care if he likes a certain movie? Why should that anger you?

If you need to express your dislike for a movie, do it in a way that doesn't shoot other people down. It just gets everyone all fired up.

Peace, guys, peace.
