It was a recipe I got off the internet.

cheebacheeba 06-04-2016 05:35 PM

Had a make-at-home roti, which for those of you that haven't tried it...is pretty nmuch a flat, round savoury croissant - they make it in a few different Asian countries, same deal as a croissant, thin, layered pastry.
I put a litle vegemite on it.

Also having an english breakfast/earl grey tea.

Vegemite? I eat marmite which I think is about the same. I always let the little ones I care for try a bit. Haven't found one that likes it yet! Has River tried it?

Lol, such an 80's kind of meal. All that's missing is the chef salad with house dressing and a bloody mary!

Chevalier 06-05-2016 04:26 PM

BBQ Ribs

Sounds even better! Though I wouldn't drink a bloody mary with that meal. After, sure.

Chevalier 06-06-2016 04:10 PM

I guess by the time you read this you're on your fourth.

hammerfan 07-29-2016 05:18 AM

Oatmeal

MichaelMyers 08-09-2016 10:15 AM

Just ate the first candy corn of the season. Unless it was from last season.

cheebacheeba 08-10-2016 04:37 AM

Some burrito thing from a food van my work decided to get in.
Bland.
You wouldn't even pick it for "Mexican" in terms of flavour at all.
Fresh salad I guess, that was nice.
It had "Pulled pork" in it, and yet again another place that misses the mark...
I mean shit...it CAN be done well, just don't cook it until it resembles the texture of canned tuna. Cook it whole. Shred it once. Done. One of my biggest pet hates.

Free food and all. I guess that part was fine...but still. Disappointing.

When you're an excellent cook yourself, it's difficult to find food that meets your expectations.

cheebacheeba 08-10-2016 03:42 PM

Fair call...but yeah in this case I also think it was another "dumbed down" version of something for fear people would complain about spice or difference. Tasted like what you'd expect to find in a mall food court Mexican joint that has 90 percent white customers.

I just ate a chocolate bar called "epic nuts" ha

Repo'd 08-11-2016 02:41 PM

My eating habits have been horrible for the last two weeks.

Trying to buck that trend and eat healthier today, so I've had a bagel, some veggies, a little low sodium, low cal tomato soup.
