April Wine sounds kinda interesting. I picked up a few 70s rock albums awhile back that ended up being pretty cool. Juicy Lucy (fuck they did a cool cover of Zappa's Willie The Pimp) and Dirty Tricks http://www.alexgitlin.com/npp/dt.htm (I had the first record) were a couple of favorites.

If you want to get some kickass rock from the 70s...try to get some "CACTUS".

I might be seeing them in concert in the near future...not sure if I'll go or not.

I finally got around to listening to Queens of the Soneage - Songs for the Deaf.

All that radio crap is realy annoying and most of the album is pretty average. One song sounded like it was lifted of "The Circus leaves town" by Kyuss and another sounded like a bad AIC b-side.

Not impressed.

One Less Reason - Everyday Life

A very good album by my standards. I listen to a lot of bands, but not many impress me. It's more like just something different to listen to. But this band struck a note with me for some reason.
