I agree. I wonder if any of them are on DVD?
I dont know bout the oringal "Dawn", but "Night" was released on a one disc/three movie set with House on Haunted Hill(1959, kick ass movie!) and Nosferatu(1922, this version has f*cked up music.) This set rox, I've watched all the movies a few times, and I just got it last week. Also, I saw the original "Day" for sale in Zellers.

Night Of The Living Dead

I rented this and I have heard that is supposed to be really good. Is it really that good?

Don't watch it.

Romero or savini?

color or b&w??? look for "day of the dawn of the night of the bride of the return of the attack of the flesh eating...." it's a redub of the original night of the living dead, it's funny! romero never copyrighted his original, so there are lots of bad remakes. savini's 80's color version is good. tom was george's makeup man for years (cameo in dawn of the dead as the motorcycle guy who sticks the machete in the zombie when the bikers storm the mall!)

zombies rule! ALL FLESH MUST BE EATEN!!!!

One of the greatest low budget movies ever. Don't expect great special effects or brilliant acting, just a good old fashioned creepy little movie.

a touching love story between a gingerbread man and an eclair

Low carb gingerbread and a regular eclair. That's the whole Montague and Capulett thing.

Are you serious?
It is only one of the greatest horror movies of all time.

SamCostello 10-30-2004 07:58 AM

Definitely watch it if it's the original.

Not only is it a good, important horror movie, the quality of the image, the contrast in the black and white, makes it one of the most beautiful movies to look at that I've seen.
