Tried to catch a full moon the other night.

fiddling with various settings - not much worked ... but i did get a couple of interesting effects - i guess..

yeah it actually had some definition.


the 1st one is cool blown up (which you can do - really far with the origional)

you can see all the detail you would see on a map of the moon.

Pretty good lens.

The cropped one looks sharp, albeit a bit denser.

so did i until i used the flash .. that seems to be the secret.


i also played around with ISO, aperature, speed, etc ...

but the simple moon picture was done with the flash on - that was the only thing extra.

That's quite strange, because a flash only illuminates what's 20 feet uin front of you.

Using a time exposure you can get a nice shot of the moon.
