Oh, clever. And to that I retort:

AKA: You're a moronic hypocritical douche.

...

And I still maintain that Jason would win against Freddy (and that he DID win in the movie).

Yes, one is me intentionally ignoring an implication and one is someone either totally misunderstanding a blatantly worded part of a post or just ignoring a blatantly worded part of a post.

"You have shit for brains."
"Huh? You have shit for brains?"
does not equal
"Someone here is full of shit."
"Yes, you are full of shit."

Is this clear enough for you? I'm not sure I can dumb myself down to your level, so I hope that will suffice. But may I advise you that in the future, when you want to post something like that, think really hard about it. And then don't post it. You're only making yourselves look worse. No wonder most of the posters worth anything left a while ago. You people are the reason this board is a joke.

Just keep blaming your self..

One wonders what Thich Qang Duc would have made of all of this.

hee hee... Oh, the thin splitting hairs of a meticulously semantic argument.

Both comparative insults could be inferred to be ironic attempts at sardonic ignorance, which was my point. But really, miscommunication is truly a part of the joy of the anonymity and ambiguous nature of posting on a forum...

But that's ok, I like it when you back pedal. :)

VERY well played, Sir.

"hee hee... Oh, the thin splitting hairs of a meticulously semantic argument. "
If you make a statement that is completely and utterly wrong, don't blame me for explaining why you're an idiot.

One was "feigning" ignorance in response to a completely blatant statement. The other was taking advantage of the vagueness of a statement. Do I need to make a chart or something? I could have the Muppet Babies come in and explain it to you if you think you could understand them better.

Well, I'm sorry* to have disappointed you thus far. I'll try to do more backpeddling and less being right in the future.

*-I'm not really sorry. Also, you're still an idiot. But mostly the lack of being sorry.

EDIT: By the way, who are you again?

hahahaha... I think you just made my morning. And I haven't even had coffee yet.

You are making a semantic argument and both "insults" were feigning ignorance by blatantly ignoring the intent of the initial statement, though using different means ("insults" being in quotation marks as neither of them were particularly effective, yours or Disease's).

But I don't think that it even matters. This thread has gotten WAY off topic.

I actually think that you made an interesting analysis here:

So he goes to hell and ends up having to kill for someone else and is basically powerless to fight against it.

Either that or it did happen, and Jason was given a more tangible, waking hell. Remember, Freddy apparently became some kinda demon (or was always a demon if FvsJ is going by the New Nightmare cannon) so it's not out of the question that he'd have some power in hell.

However, just because someone on this forum disagrees with your film analysis, doesn't mean that you should be an asshole, i.e.:

It's the motivation given for the character's actions, regardless of what Dumb Fuck Aussie thinks about it.

If the purpose of your joining this thread is to argue that Freddy Vs. Jason only happens on the plane of Jason's Hell, then do it. That's interesting and well thought-out. Let's go back there. And stop being a douche about it.

...

If Freddy Vs. Jason is Jason's Hell... Does that mean that killing for him is eternal suffering? And his mom is a sort of surrogate Devil that he serves? Or is she just a manifestation of the Devil (if there is a Devil that presides over Hell)?

Freddy Krueger. Freddy had personality, Jason just walked and killed people. At least for NOES's sake, the sequels could be inventive. Friday the 13th sequels were pretty much the same. Not that I didn't like some of the sequels (part 6 is my favorite of the sequels), but it was same old, same old. The only thing going for F13 is that you can pop any of them in and get the same thrill.
