Anyway...I was GONNA say........Heather may be a bitch when she feels like it...BUT...Never a feminist...She shaves her legs AND her armpits...AND she's beautiful...So, she couldn't POSSIBLY be a feminist...lol :p

certainly not a feminazi, thats for damn sure

Thank you, Rayne. I forgot about the prerequisits for being a feminist and how I don't meet them. I also take showers on a regular basis, and I like to wear things that smell good.

I think he was just really intimidated by my innate brilliance.:D

OH YEAH...Then there's that, too....I haven't ever witnessed an overwhelming abundance of intelligence within the 'feminist' masses...

i'm a feminist !

My introduction to the term "feminist" was while watching the show "Sledge Hammer" back in the 80's

evil bad lady runs out of bullets and throws down her gun. Sledge hammer points his big ass gun at her
"You wouldnt hoot me, im a woman."
BLAM! *woman falls down dead*
"Im a femenist."

Much funnier once i knew what one was.

i worked with some EVIL hardcore feminazis when i was 20....

Feminazi Vegan liberal facists to be specific....

Jesus, if you joked about ANYTHING, they came down like a nbag of hammers....

So one day, to shut them up, i took a bunch of the boys to burger kling for lunch, then we went back to work, sat down next to the gaggle and loudly talked about how GOOD they were. Told soem off color jokes.

for the record "Liberal facism" or "liberal nazism" refers to PETA like people who think you should accept their point of view, and will do everything in their power to take away your right to disagree with them, even though they just want freedom and whats best for the world.

Hmm- I feel a bit out of place responding to Haunted after the whole "Feminist B..." side-conversation but . . .

First, how does stating my opinion (that critics of the film are wrong) condescend to you (or anyone else). I even acknowledged that all are entitled to their opinion (a fact so obvious its not even really worth stating) but offered what I felt was the main thrust of the film - i.e., my opinion.

Second, I'd suggest that if you don't want politics but just gore and thrills (and good acting) then the LAST place you'd go is a Romero film - he has ALWAYS focused more on the political subtext than either gore or scares. (I think people confuse Romero with some of his imitators at times). Dawn of the Dead is incredibly long and, in many ways, boring - tedious. The eventual climactic slaughter is played, largely, for laughs and the whole film subverts the usual conventions of the genre.

So - I hope stating my opinion (and god forbid using full sentences and words like "subvert") doesn't seem too condescending. At the end of the day, you can love, hate, or poop on any film you want. I, for one, come to this forum to *discuss* films with other folks. Disagree with me, please, but don't accuse me of being obnoxious or condescending (at least until you meet me in person and see my looking down my nose at you).

Damnit,
ZERO

That whole post was condescending and to ME as a matter of fact.

Maybe you should look up "condescend" in the Dictionary. Also, maybe you should never ever ever insult my intelligence.

Everyone on this forum knows that I don't argue with people over the internet. So, I'm ending this conversation.

Oh, and kiss my witchy ass.

Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones

I did mildly enjoy them both just because I like the lightsaber fights and all the different characters but they still let me down.

Jar jar binks was definately a good reason to call for George Lucas to be castrated...
