thats the beauty of humanity - were not completely bound by instinct, we can make our own decisions... which can be good or bad thing.

again.. perception

also, everything is related to everything else. example - organic foods. good, yes? makes sense, its all natural, theres no fish genes in a damn tomato, no pesticides...

PROBLEM is - its inefficient, the foods are susceptible to harsh weather, insects. Also, it is much tougher on the soil. as in, you CANT make nearly as much, as in, you cant FEED as many

see? goes with everything.

but how do u measure such a thing?

example - some would consider only a house with a man and a woman are fit to raise a child (penelope was recently denied adoption becaues she is unmarried)

so heres some of my beliefs - if you have bad credit, u cant have kids. if you have any chemical dependencies - no kids. if u cant afford to send ur kids to college - no kids. if u urself have no college education (id say, at LEAST an associates) - no kids.

of course EVERYONE believes differently, and theres no way u can draw the line.

and even if people DO pass this test...

so basically what you're saying is if you're broke you can't have a kid, isn't that a bit harsh? My grandmother and Grandfather never went to college and they raised their kids just fine and had money, she worked at a Glass making company and he was a boxer(Welterweight champion for a little while). College education should never be a qualifing mark for having a kid.

thats my point. whats normal to me may be harsh to others. fact of the matter is, those who are victimized or who are the victimizers tend to come from low income, low status families.

the rich stay rich, the poor stay poor.

I say nobody should have kids, period. But that's just the way I think, which obviously everyone else thinks my way of thinking is completely screwed up. But yeah, if people think they absolutely can't live without a kid, then it shouldn't be so easy...if they bring a life into the world they should at least take care of it.

urgeok 03-09-2005 01:21 PM

i absolutely couldnt live without one ..

thats how i felt before ... and i certainly couldnt live without my kid now ..

bets thing that ever happened to me.
