No doubt in my mind.....The Lord of the Rings

Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

Lord of the Rings is a series of books, not one book , even though it was written as one. If there are three different titles and three different covers then they cannot count! I DEMAND THEY BE STRICKEN FROM THE LIST!

Lord of the Rings.

what shenanigans are these??

dawn of the dead has won every single film tournament ever and now it loses.

i think this is anti-simian conspiracy!!

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - a striking, violent criticism of modern society and one of the most powerful novels ever written.

Versus Lord of the Rings, a convoluted mess of plotlines and high-fantasy nonsense that were made into an equally convoluted (though far more entertaining) series of films.

I think you know my vote.

lord of the rings

Lord of the Rings.

Truly magical. Return- you have no soul.

Sorry to vote against home town boy though. Had the distinct pleasure to meet Kesey a few times.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Vote House of Leaves!

Darker, scarier, and more complex than those other two books (one of which is not really a book, but a series, so that shouldn't even count! :p ). House of Leaves is your own claustrophobic journey!
