Just started "Waiting" by Frank M. Robinson.

I just finished "The Terror" by Dan Simmons. Here's my review (currently posted on mybooklist.com also):

An adventure tale set in the mid-1850s. A lengthy read but worth the journey. Filled with an interesting cast of unique characters, The Terror is a fictional account of two sailing ships which become locked in the ice for three years in their quest to discover the North West Passage. The crews of the vessels must survive against incredible cold, diminishing rations, their own ability to maintain hope and an unknown monster that stalks them from across the ice. A good read for those who like survival-adventure tales but this one ends with an interesting twist that tips to the fantastical. I would have rated it better but for the fact this book could have benefited from some aggressive editing. At one point, the author goes on for several pages just listing all of the survivors of the two ships—-a recounting that serves only minimal value. At nearly 800 pages, this tale could have been equally effective with a little judicious pruning.

I am reading the Sandman series by neil gaiman and Forever Odd by Dean Koontz.

Have just finished the Dark Horse Book of the Dead - I quite like the mixture of different artist styles and storylines! I am also a huge fan of Terry Pratchett - I know its not quite horror but its highly amusing! :p

More of a children's fantasy... I read it recently.
An entire day wasted.
It was pretty good for that reading level.
Basically about necromancy and killing zombies in a mid-evil type country.
Kinda cute.
They should have added more gore & some more intamacy between the two lovers.
Still, for that reading level, I understand.
Good books are ruined for the young.
Meh... 6/10

I just finished Drifting Classroom Vol. 4 by Kazuo Umezu – a really wild and awesome manga about a school that gets transported, without explanation, to another place, possible the Earth’s distant future.

I’m reading some Edogawa Rampo in fits and starts and expect to jump into Death Note vols. 9 and 10 later today.

I know I say this everytime, but this is the best Moore book yet.....until the next one I read.
