Grizzly (2015) aka Into the Grizzly Maze aka Red Machine: Hunt or be Hunted I.M.D.B. Two estranged brothers reunite at their childhood home in the Alaskan wild. They set out on a two-day hike and are stalked by an unrelenting grizzly bear. Mildly entertaining movie about a pissed off bear fighting back against over-poaching and logging. Certainly not great, but the acting is solid and it's well made. There's just nothing much interesting happening here. 6/10 |

I thought Once Upon a time in Mexico was where the series kind've fell down.
Not bad, just...didn't do it for me. I realise, I haven't watched an actual movie in a while...having a (now) toddler makes this difficult. Watched a bit of "The Intern" before I fell asleep. Actually looked like a decent, heartfelt movie. Though seriously, I think I've had enough of Anne Hathaway. I don't hate her or anything, she's just...in too many damn movies. |
Lake Nowhere, 2014. {45 min. short film}
 Fantastic! Its a short film with two faux trailers for movies that are pretty cool. Retro slasher feel that has all the basics, sex, nudity, gore blood but with an underlying twist! Imperium (2016) I.M.D.B. Idealistic FBI agent Nate Foster goes undercover to take down a radical white supremacy terrorist group. The up-and-coming analyst must confront the challenge of sticking to a new identity while maintaining his real principles as he navigates the dangerous underworld of white supremacy. Good movie, with a heavy dose of tension throughout, kept interesting by a strong performance from Daniel Radcliffe. Recommended. 8/10 |
