A History of Violence

Holds up just as well at home as it did in the theater. The GF hadn't seen it, so it was a perfect time for me to buy it and come one step closer to completing my Cronenberg collection.

Also, the stairway scene is hot.

Vampire Hunters....This was a huge surprise...It has everything...Kung fu, zombies and the Japanese version of vampires...Lots of gore, steaming piles of guts...Awesome!...This movie warrants the name of a different genre, 'Horror Fu' :D...I loved it...Everyone should see it

Dark City...Fell asleep about halfway through...Good so far...I'll get back to ya

Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector

Now this is my kind of comedy. It knows what it is, and it hits the funny bone (and the ass). I fell out of my seat laughing (first time I've ever done this). Larry turned out way better than I expected! I honestly have nothing wrong with this movie. It had a nice length (around 90 minutes), funny as hell, good cast (glad to see Megyn Smith acting again), and delivered a lot of great lines. I'm pissed that the IMBD rating is 1.4/10, because it deserves way more than that!

5 out of 5 stars
FACTOID: Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector is the first movie of 2006 (that was released in 2006) to recieve the 5 out of 5 stars rating. Congratulations!

Multiplicity

Well, I guess my night couldn't be the greatest. Multiplicity looked promising. I mean, it had a good cast (Michale Keaton, Eugene Levy), had a good plot (for a comedy, that is), and had a nice length (117 minutes). But, I guess it was too promising, and I guess I got my hopes up too high, because it was nothing to laugh at. I didn't like the directing because a lot of the time, when the camera moved, the screen went into a "dream wave". It wasn't pretty. I also didn't like the clones of Doug. They were nothing like him when they first came out. One was a fucking fancy-ass pansy! That wasn't Doug at all! Oh, and don't even get me started on retarded Doug. Just skip this comedy. It isn't worth it.

bloodrayne :

well, considering who made it - i wasnt hating it like i thought i would ... he keeps everything going so fast - the edits are like one a second ..that you barely get a chance to notice if it's good or bad. Suprisingly strong and diverse cast though.

that being said - i fell asleep an hour in because i was exhausted,,
i'll finish it later today. Michael Madsen looks like a goof in that hair.

oh .. and prior to that was : The Cat From Outer Space

good for a laugh if only because the 'alien cat' that talked like a hip teenager - with the outdated lingo typical of the older Disney films.

This is the very first thing that I've heard about this movie that wasn't completely negative

@YJ- The different types of Dougs was obviously intentional. One was his masculine side, one was his feminine side and the other was his inner child I guess you could say. That's what made it funny imo, but I'm goofy guy so it doesn't take all that much to make me crack up.
