A pretty good comic for horror fans. I would give it about an 8 or so out of 10. Here's a preview for those interested in getting it.

I believe it's only a one shot. Maybe they will have a continuation story in the future though.

Have you checked out Chilling Adventures of Sabrina? The first trade is out, it's by the same writer as Afterlife with Archie, but a different artist, and it's pretty killer.

------

I picked up the first issue of R.L. Stine's new run on Man Thing. It's really pretty awful, hahaha.

Also picking through the first volume of Harrow County. Story is so far pretty interesting, the art is pretty fantastic as well.

I'm going to get Sabrina this October.

Ordered a lot of magazines from CREEPY CLASSICS, mostly MIDNIGHT MARQUEE, early CASTLE OF FRANKENSTEIN, MONSTER BASH and FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND from 1975-76 era, as well as a good copy of CREEPY #52. Really liked this when pre-Teen and it still holds up and also closes the gap in my collection.

Waxwork Records came out with a comic and record bundle. I'm going to get that soon.

If I was getting into reading horror comics, what would you suggest me reading first. I hope I'd be able to find it on amazon or in a book store.

I hope it's okay that I'm posting here. =)

There are tons. John Carpenter has his name on two volumes of horror graphic novels. I'll probably get them in October.

Check the online comic shops like MidtownComics and MyComicShop. You should be able to sort by horror comics.

Going through my mountain of oldies and finding the vintage Spider-Man ones still hold up quite nicely.

Vintage of what years?
I collect things here and there.

Been getting thru The Boys not sure why I haven't picked it up before now.

The Eibon Press adaption of Maniac was great. Looking forward to my copy of Bottomfeeder to arrive!

Sorry to take so long in getting this answered. Most of the originals are early-mid 1970's. The vast majority of the "Classic: are MARVEL TALES which still do just fine.

Got back from CHILLER THEATRE this past weekend. More MONSTER BASH magazines from Ron Adam's CREEPY CLASSICS and several EERIE/CREEPY back issues which are ones I was looking for to fill the gaps in my collection.
