Mountain lions are not uncommon in these parts... I've seen 3or4 over the past five years on my property. The neighbors all come runnin' out with pistols and shotguns and I'm like hey it's cool don't kill it!
I don't think it was a mt lion kill tho....One mt lions usually cover up their kills and Two it didn't eat much of it....I'm thinkin' maybe a dog got it.

I did actually just buy 3 pretty gourds today! My mother doesn't like Halloween in the slightest and yet she has a pot with a jack-o-lantern face in it holding one of her tomato plants. I put the gourds around the base of it on the stairs looking so pretty.::smile::
