You thought right. I buy whatever I don't have whether it be a certain box set, different cover art, special edition ect.

For example, I've got 6 different copies of Unforgiven. VHS, DVD, SE DVD and 3 others from different box sets.

Rad! So you've got a Clint Eastwood shrine goin' on? I had some cool cardboard stand ups a few years back of The Dead Pool, Pink Caddilac and the Unforgiven. I'd be pretty keen to find a Dirty Harry action figure

AUSTIN316426808 08-11-2006 05:59 PM

I guess that's what I'd call it.

I had some stand ups, action figures and lord knows how many posters, but all that's gone(fucking hurricane). I've bought a few posters since but no luck with any action figures and other collectibles.

Two of the most spectacular horror films of all time. Good score, my friend.

I still say The Haunting is one of the scariest movies of all time.

And Freaks...well, you know. It's fucking Freaks.

I havent seen either of 'em, so Im really excited.

Might be watching The Haunting tonight, not sure. My dad wants to watch Man-Thing, so Ill probably wind up watching that instead...not like thats a bad thing, I think Man-Thing looks pretty cool, but Id much rather watch The Haunting.

From one horror nerd to another: When you watch The Haunting, (this is my suggestion) watch it alone, at night, and with all the lights off. It's a fantastic experience, and rare nowadays. You have one chance to view it correctly.

I'll keep that in mind.

It will mean that I probably wont get to watch it for awhile though... (my dad's on vacation for a week, no chance of watching a movie alone)

Well, you could slip your dad into the experience...just make sure there are no conversations.

I haven't seen this one. I enjoyed the first couple of Puppet Master flicks I've seen (I've got Part 5 somewhere but that was pretty painfull.... maybe some good weed will cure that) and Demonic Toys is cool. I lost my copy of Dollman vs Demonic Toys which was a good fun cheesefest. The Full Moon stuff is really hard to come across over here these days. Fun campy stuff but not worth the $50 import prices. I pick 'em on VHS whenever they pop up for a couple of bucks a piece.

DVD:
The Amityville Horror (Remake)
............flame away people but I really enjoyed this flick.
