I agree about Will Ferrell. That guy still got it.

I think my favorite Ferrell movie has to be Blades of Glory.

"You smell of urine"
"A lot?"

But he is funniest in supporting roles. Same can be said about Ben Stiller.

Thumb resize.

"Never Back Down: No Surrender" 6/10

An old school martial arts flick with a classic story, decent acting from the leads and some funny lines here and there. Too bad the fights were short and few and far between.

Watch out for cameos by JeeJa Yanin and Tony Jaa. Especially Jaa has a performance you've never seen before. OUUUUUUUW!!

Kill Me, Freddy Krueger! 05-29-2016 06:32 AM

Hush (2016), I don't know why it's praised... it's mediocre, nothing special or groundbreaking. Yet another reason not to trust sites like Rotten Tomatoes (where it holds a 100% rating) & IMDb (where it has a 6,7 out of 15k votes).

Raaz 3 - Last Seen Hindi Horror Movie

Raaz 3 was the last horror movie I have seen. The movie is good in its elements, especially technical elements. Story was not strong, but overall the movie was good..

Just saw X-Men Apocalypse.

I love superhero movies and comic books in general. I really loved Apocalypse. A lot better than I expected considering the somewhat middle of the road reaction the movie got from critics.

Turned out it was a great movie with good performances especially from Michael Fassbender. It may not be the best X-Men movie but it was definitely one of the great ones.

30 days of night (2007)
4/10

After the intriguing setup... in a small isolated Alaskan town, with dogs, phone and electricity killed, survive 30 days of night against vampire creatures... it was unimaginative, cliche, mechanical, repetitive... making it dull in 2016. Because the characters lacked depth and accessibility, the film's attempts at evoking emotion were painfully futile. Good production value.
