So Chronogrl, your cat(s) seem to be missing something... and I don't mean salsa. Is the missing feature something that causes you to sneeze?

Hahahaha - Now I want to figure out how to make a salsa costume... To fill in the missing bits. ;)

You're right; both of my babies are hairless Shynx cats. My preeecious.

Tenzing

Assuming this is similar overseas - typically, student-house landlords don't allow pets. I am in the fortunate position where my landlord is also the father of one of my housemates, so we have a bit more leniency. We'd been debating getting a snake or a lizard of some kind, but decided that realistically, it just wouldn't happen. As much as I'd love it, the care needed for the viv, the feeding etc. just isn't suitable for us busy student folk.

Last Thursday I came home from a couple of days visiting friends to find my housemates all sitting on the living room floor, pillows dotted around and a few boxes. "We've got a snake...but we can't find it" they told me.

Then one housemate approaches from the side with the "snake" under her cardigan, about to show me. Cardigan moves aside, animal is revealed...

Story is, my housemate's girlfriend was in the supermarket and saw an ad for this little fella at around 7pm. At 8pm she came to ours and mentioned it to the others. At 8:15 they phoned the house. At 9pm they went to get him and at 10:00 I met the little guy. 10 weeks old at the moment. Split second decision but we nontheless take him seriously. Have a strict feeding chart, clean up the food from the sides at ALL times now etc. We're students, but we're good ;)

As he's a good climber, we've named him Tenzing.

He's adorable!

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw, Ferret! Definitely a better decision than a snake. ::wink::

I actually do like snakes; my friend Adam had one... The novelty wears off, though.
