I went out for dinner last night, had one of these, it's a very smooth choclatey dark ale. I would of had a few more but I stuffed myself with crepes...

I would need about 8 beers in me before I tried anything called "Seaweed Ale".

Enjoying an Augustijn tripel in an over-sized wine glass.

A nice, smooth, fruity Belgian ale. Not one of my favorites, but really enjoyable.

It's brewed here in Scotland.

Is Scotland famous for their beer??

No would be my guess.

Finally opened my Founders KBS:

And wow.

Thick, heavy, creamy...heavy coffee and dark chocolate on the nose, and that's a lot of what you taste. Plus hints of vanilla, bourbon, and roasted malts. Hides its ABV quite well, too, especially considering that this year it's at 11.2%.

Very complex, very intense, and very delicious. No wonder these sell out so fast.

Having a Dark Horse Perkulator Coffee Doppelbock.

Not bad. Heavy burnt coffee and roasted malts, finishes pretty bitter. A little too light for a doppelbock, though, especially a coffee doppelbock.
I might try it again, but I'm glad I only got one bottle.

But they are famous for Scotch! :D

Here's my latest favorite: Balvenie Double Wood 12 yr. Great with a splash of water

And my seasonal summer favorite just came out again. Cream ales really are the best. This is Buffalo Bill's Orange Blossom Cream Ale. Just divine. :)
