Amitiville remake- 5/10, Not much to say since it was almost like the Psycho remake, it wasn't word for word scene for scene but it basically just copied the original with the exception of bad acting. Ryan Renolds did an ok job but the rest of the cast were sub-par. Overall it was watchable but in the worst way, it's rather boring and plan then something will happen to catch your attention for a moment then it goes back to being plan.

A Series of Unfortunate Events- 8/10, I thought it was very funny, Carrey was great as usual and the kids gave a good performance as well. The sets,make-up and costumes were really cool. Overall it's as cool and funny as it is visually great.

Blade Trinity- 4/10, Surprisingly I thought the acting wasn't totally horrible, Snipes and Reynolds were ok but other than that I was disappointed. Dracula looks like a complete pussy and he couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag with a katana. The only thing that got the rating as high as it is was the fighting which I did enjoy, not as good as in the first two Blades but neither was anything else. Overall I don't think it's that good of a film at all but if you liked the first two Blade films you might be able to sit through this one without clawing your eyeballs out.

Urge:D That just cracks me right up. I am watching Mortal Kombat. The second one. I never realized how crappy it was until now. Probably because the last time I watched it, I was 11 or 12.

Wait, are you saying that New York Minute isn't a horror movie? Hmmmmm....seems like it would be terrifying to me....

Oh, you must have been talking about Walking Tall....

The last movie I watched was Blade:Trinity....I liked Ryan Reynolds. The actor that played Dracula was horribly miscast and Parker Posey is about as scary as my grandmother.....no, when she gets going, my grandmother is actually scarier.

I guess i´m one of, obviously, very few who found "The green mile" longdrawn, dull as hell and just plain bad... 3/10

newb 05-07-2005 05:54 AM

I had "Assault on Precinct 13" all fired up and ready to go last night when my daughter came home from work and wanted to watch "The Life Aquatic".
Guess who got their way.

anyway "The Life Aquatic" kinda sucked. Great cast.....just didn't do it for me.

Tonight...Assault on Precinct 13.

I really have NO say in my castle.:(

i thought it was contrived and unrememberable .. didnt like it at all.

(i know every story is 'contrived' but they arent supposed to feel that way)

When you say "contrived", do you mean the story or the way the characters are acting?

the story .. very 'canned' hard for me to describe .. just very typical ron howard .. cutsy alternating with drama ..

urgeok 05-07-2005 06:14 PM

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

Brotherhood of the Wolf really is a great film.....thought it was a little uneven in parts but overall very impressive.

And I can't quite bring myself to even watch Irreversible.

Anyway, the last movie I watched was National Treasure.
