Do you go to film school, too?

Yes sir just finishing up my first year in this coming month, it's very interesting and a lot of fun but it's been getting mad busy lately. That's cool that you're going to school for film as well. What department are you focusing on?

That's awesome. I'd love to see what you're working on if you have anything on Vimeo or something. I'm finishing up my third semester right now. I'm going for cinematography. I just completed all the general classes, so from here on out it's all advanced cinematography courses. Can't wait.

That's super cool dude, cinematography is something I may consider focusing on in my second year. Right now I don't have an awful lot of work online, but in May we're shooting three shorts (one of which I wrote and am going to direct) and I'd love to hear your thoughts on them when we finish them up.

I'm leaning towards writing, directing and cinematography as of right now. Can't say I have any real skill in any of those departments yet, but definitely the areas I'm interested in.

What cameras do you learn to shoot on at your school? Do you learn film or is it all digital?

We have been shooting on a HPX 170 but this month we get access to the 370 and the AF100 which will be great because it's the first camera we've used that has interchangeable lenses.

Thus far it's been all digital, but next year we have to do a 3 minute 16mm and a documentary film on 16mm which is pretty exciting.

What about yourself? Do you have any things that you've taken part in that are online?

agreed......if somebody offered me plane tickets to ANY destination....I would choose Ireland.

Ireland is beautiful and the people here are friendly - the only downside is the prices of shit here (and the weather).

I was in Ireland a few years ago for about a week. I wasn't able to leave Dublin, though. It was still an amazing time and a great city, but I would definitely love to visit the countryside as well.
And yeah, everyone was just so friendly. Coming from life in a major American city, that was a delightful change of pace.

As for me, the boyfriend (NOW FIANCE) FINALLY proposed on July 4th!! We've been together for 5 years and I'm really excited about it.

The pictures are awful - We were in Nova Scotia (which is beautiful by the way) and I forgot my camera and had to settle for the iPhone - Not bad, but I'm looking forward to taking better ones).
