Dont take too much credit, I'd been thinking of getting it anyway...you just made me want to see it more:p

Urge - So Frantic is good, I assume? I'd only half heared of it before....I only got it because there was nothing else in the bin that I wanted, and my dad told me it was pretty cool.

Enemy Mine is one of my favorite sci fi movies. Louis Gosset Jr. was the perfect alien creature. Pretty moving too.

Sean Connery is awesome. The book and the movie are both great.

It's in my clutches, and dying to be watched. Heard very, very good things about it but like suggested - didn't look up the details. I think The_Return said it's best to know as little as possible before seeing this film. Or maybe I'm just confused.

Yep, that was me.

Great movie, watch it ASAP.

The_Return 08-01-2006 07:31 PM

Well, after waiting about 2 months for Freaks to get here from Ebay, I finally got my money back.

I probably should have learned my lesson from this ordeal, but did I? Of course not!

I put the money towards Freaks (from a different seller, of course), as well as a copy of the original The Haunting.

crabapple 08-01-2006 09:00 PM

Could you check and see what their feedback rating was like, in the percentage section? They sounds like kinda flaky-wakey.

Miss Olivia 08-01-2006 09:09 PM

It seems like half the people on Ebay are con artists. I have much better luck on Amazon.
Last Christmas, my best friend lost over three hundred dollars to a con on Ebay, and they didn't do anything about it.

Both the person that ripped me off and the person that I ordered these new ones from are the "Power Seller" types.

They both had like 2000 positive feedback in the last month, but also had around 25 negative. Im hoping for the best...

the feedback system has gone to hell.

too many sellers are reserving their feedback until they get theirs from the buyer which is fucking bullshit.

as soon as the buyer pays - bam - give the feedback bitch !

now people are afraid to give honest feedback because they'll get 'pay back feedback' from these dishonest c*$%suckers.

most sellers are ok .. but there are a growing number of pieces of shit who arent smart enough to figure out thast if they do an honest quality job they stand to make far more $$$ from return customers bidding against each other than the 5$ they make ripping people off one at a time.

the sad thing is they consider themselves to be very shrewd and clever when they are in actuality so fucking stupid i'm suprised their motor functions dont up and quit on them.

another shining example that if there is money to me made, there is also a prime spot for monet to be stolen.
