Don't you mean sexy? ::wink::
No, in all seriousness, please explain.
I didn't notice because I don't care when it happens in movies.

Alright, I'll be brief 'cause its online and I try to avoid debates online 'cause people hide behind their computer connections and act like arseholes.

Basically you rarely see men as strippers in movies. Its always women of a fairly specific body type. Movies usually make stripping out to be a sexy fun time for the viewers and the women. From what I've read women get into stripping due to poverty. Often also prostituting themselves.
Teenagers will be seeing Dead Pool and other movies like it. Along with magazines, advertisements, etc they're fed this unreal/false ideal of females, what they look like, and they all want to fuck you. Adults too see this sort of thing constantly. It rewires your brain.

There's a lot more, but like I said don't wanna start a debate.

^ Hun, if you don't watch Deadpool for those reasons, then I'm sorry to say, but you probably shouldn't watch any movie. Sexism is in everything. And I mean everything.

The Breed (2001)
Vampires not dogs. Do people even know of this movie's existence? It's not by critic standards a good movie (I should really review it sometime to point this out, but if you watched it I think you would see why), but God help me I love this movie... Nay, I adore it. Call it a guilty pleasure I guess. The broody atmosphere with the characters they throw in... I got so obsessed with this thing I actually watched it with commentary once, and you kind of get the feel that these people had fun with this shitfest. I'm just so glad I bought the VHS. Now I have proper background noise. ..If I can keep it as just noise and not pay too much attention to it when I need to.

It's the internet. It's what debates are for. I'm sorry if I appear like an asshole. I know I'm quite blunt and I like to take the piss but I do appreciate a decent discussion.

Back to the movie.
I think you mostly see female strippers because most men like females, so they tend to go to female strip clubs. That's just logic imo.
I agree on the body type. But that's considered beauty to the average person so again I think it's logical.
Stripping is supposed to be fun for the viewers. I think that's the point of stripping.
In most movies I've seen they don't make it seem fun for the women.
Maybe in PG-13 movies or stuff like that but that's because they don't deal with the harsh reality. They're meant to be lighthearted and entertaining.
You say movies, magazines, advertisments have a bad influence on people.
True. That's the way the world is. Teenagers are stupid. Adults are stupid. People in general are feckin' stupid. That's it.
But you're letting your personal opinion get in the way of enjoying a movie.
And that's too bad.
It's a movie. An action-comedy. Not a raw drama. So why expect realism?
Why watch movies in general? There's probably something unreal in every movie.

I don't even remember a stripper in Dead Pool. And I've seen the movie twice. ::big grin::

Most of the time, but there are some exceptions.

Ex Machina-2015. Didn't think I'd like this one, I'm pleasantly surprised.
