Was Soul Survivors the one where the girl kept seeing her friends who died in a car accident but in reality it was all in her head and she was on life support? If so, then I vote The Villiage. If not, then I vote The Villiage.

I didn't find Jaws 3...Terrible. By all means it was bad but it was a new idea for it, instead of another film of kids getting the shit kicked out of them in the same town by the same breed of shark. And it was just meant to be a bit of fun.
But having not seen the other two and I do think it's bad, Jaws 3. |

I'm pretty annoyed by Track of the Moonbeast, which greatly loses its cheese fun factor without Servo and Crow, but the chief offender would be Jaws 3.

one thing i will say about blair witch 2:
regardless of how good/bad i thought it was, it kept me quite entertained with all of the creepy hidden things spread about the movie. i remember watching it a couple times in one night with friends trying to find all that stuff. for that alone i cannot vote for it here. since i haven't seen jigsaw (although it looks like full moon garbage, judging by the half-assed photoshop cover), i think i'll go with the stranger calls remake. boring. pointless. boring. |

I thought Blair Witch 2 was creepy and well done. As fortunato mentioned, it's also fun to hunt for the extras on the DVD.
I know I'm fighting an uphill battle here, but I feel like this movie unfairly gets the shaft. Blair Witch was loved by the hardcore fans, but hated by the masses. "Where's the witch?" they cried. "I want my money back!" Blair Witch 2 gave them exactly what they wanted: effects in their face. Gothic chick eats an owl, hot red head dances mysteriously naked. The movie had the good mysterious sensibility of Session 9. Does everyone hate it because it carries the Blair Witch tag? I personally think if it would have just been called book of shadows, hardcore fans would have loved it more. Fuck the name. Just like Hellraiser 6, it was a good movie brought down by the expectations of its namesake. SAVE BLAIR WITCH 2, SAYS I! It's an underrated gem in my eyes. |
