I hate when things don't ever go according to plan!! It sucks for all parties involved!!

stubbornforgey 06-29-2008 11:18 PM

muggy hot weather, the kind where there is a soft breeze but it has no effect.
Air conditioners going hard core but thats a waste of power, barely tickles the surface.
Watch this space in winter cos em most definately going to complain about that too .

Daedalus 06-30-2008 12:07 AM

more the former ..

but i did go through a very heavy 'holy shit - i'm mortal and time's running out' reality check a while ago ...

so yeah - i pretty much have an extremely positive outlook on life these days - trying to make the moist of it. and you know what - it's not all that hard to do.

i dont walk around with blinders on or anything - i just see things a lot clearer these days - a very firm grasp on what my priorities are - what's important - what's not worth fretting about ..

i wish i'd woken up 20 years earlier - but better late than never !

"youth is wasted on the young" not just a old saying. I had a pretty rude awakening about 4 years ago when i hit a moose in my car. that clarity faded over time, but i get little slaps in the face all the time. :)

My silly egyptian is facing a family crisis right now in which his dad needs a liver transplant at the cost of 70,000$.They can afford to pay this but it wil put them in a financial fix for awhile and will have to face cut backs seeing that his immediate family will not be working in order to take care of his dad..leaving him to be the bread winner for them all. There is no animosity here because being an only son..he feels that this is his duty and em so proud of him for it..however.
He doesn't want me to be involved in the hardship they will be forced to endure
so is sending me back to NZ ..whether I want to go or not.
Em not sure what em hating right now but i know its something real big. :(

Nah. Next week I'm going Paintballing, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers (Those being 2 being theme parks). It's part of my schools activity week. Not only that, but I've got two holidays this year. A week in Tenerife and a week diving in the Red sea. The former in early August and the latter in Late september. Not only that.

I want next week, then late july when school ends, early August and Late september all now!

I know I sound like a spoilt brat, and waiting makes it all the sweeter. Still...!

NYYYYEEEEEERRRRR!!!!!!!

I think it'll be good, but I'm not hyped about it. I wasn't keen on BB. This'll be good, but I'm not that bothered about it.

Disease 06-30-2008 10:13 AM

Life, just everything right now is shit, I'm not going into it. But I just hate it all today!

The_Return 06-30-2008 11:48 AM

The stupid play that I'm in...

A couple of my theatre friends decided to get a crew together and put on a production of The Breakfast Club. They found a script online, got a cast lined up, and went right into rehearsals.

Now, everyone involved has a bunch of acting experience, but nobody (except for me) has directed before. On top of that, we dont have a stage manager.

Well, the girls "directing" only set aside about a month for rehearsals, and didn't give anyone a set schedule until about 2 weeks ago. We open on the 2nd, and NOBODY is prepared. Thanks to the lack of a schedule, we've only really had 1 full cast rehearsal.

A month is more than enough time for professionals to get a play like this set up and ready to go, but we're all amateurs and neither of the "directors" have ever attempted anything like this. We've got the shell of a pretty awesome show...everyone in it is really talented, and we're using the original script, so we're working with gold. But because everything is so rushed and thrown together, I'm really scared that it wont work out.

I'm really glad that I'm not one of the principals - I play Mr Vernon, if anyone's familiar with the show. I only pop up in one or two scenes, it's a super easy part. I feel really bad for everyone else though...they hardly leave the stage at all. If I had a part like that with this amount of preparation, I'd be shitting my pants about now...

Dude Guadalupe 06-30-2008 04:54 PM

I hate sitting here at work counting down the hours till I get to go home. It's even worse knowing that I got two days ahead of me where I can turn off my phone and just spend time with the family.

I just can't wait to get home.

missmacabre 07-02-2008 01:47 PM

a) that I'm not allowed, by contract to make complaints about my work online despite having no real life friends who give a shit.

b) That my idiot boss has some seriously skewed employment standards as of late. She must have to fill a quota of black, retarded and fat/lazy employees. First she hired Scary Carrie who bitched me out in front of coworkers and customers about my speed on drivethru and had been fired previously for throwing a tea bag at a customer. Now Derek applied. He had high 80's in highschool, is going to University and is thinking ahead about finding a new job because he's currently summer employment only at the plant. Does he get hired? No. However, they hired a girl I've know since grade school who is a bully, has zero work ethic and is extremely uncooperative not to mention never even graduated from highschool, all because she's black. Bravo. Also hired, were several fat people who get in the way and old people who I don't get along with because they don't want to accept that someone younger than them, may very well be smarter than they are.

I can't wait to get the fuck done with this summer, move to part time, get my diploma and work with some creative, reasonable people with at least half a brain. I'll settle for less even, if those people get their creativity by smoking weed. Fuckkkkk. I'm really quite pissed off. Anyone wanna talk?

My bf got me playing WoW (not quite the same thing, I know.) but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I've played maybe 2 hours tops and am a lvl 10 Blood Elf Warlock. Good times.
