big, fun game. not as big and fun as Oblivion though, and doesn't allow you to keep playing after you beat it

Call Of Duty 4
short but challenging single player. Beat it on Hardened, Im not even going to attempt it on veteran, its near impossible.

Yes COD 4 in veteran is a challenge.Took me a long time to beat it.Some levels had me so mad I almost threw my controller.

Ren And Stimpy (sega genesis)
Sonic 3 (xbox360)

Despare 09-03-2009 09:02 PM

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Beat the game and solved all the riddles...

Lots of challenge room stuff still, and of course I could always go back and do it all again on Hard.

That the time machine one?
I think there was maybe 3 of them all up across the 16-bit titles?

Man, gotta say as I have before, I really miss the 16-bit era.
Games are great now, don't get me wrong...but there's something of the simplicity of a good top-down rpg or beat 'em up that I just loved.

I just plowed through The Suffering for a second time... I beat it 3 years back on xbox, but decided it needed a revisiting. I'ma play through the sequel sometime this week...

Good game though... very entertaining.

Angra 11-22-2009 05:32 AM

"Borderlands" 7-8/10

The game and missions ended much too early. Before I got to become a serious badass.. :(

And can someone enlighten me. What's the point of playing on when you've killed the last boss and talked to that reseacher girl? What is left to do then? I don't see any new missions. Have i missed something?

Harder enemies and better loot. It's even foreshadowed in the beginning when the bus driver says he has a feeling you'll be doing this again real soon.

I'm not talking about starting all over. I'm talking about what happens after the credits. Then the game lets you keep on playing, but why? What is there to do?

Freak 11-25-2009 05:29 AM

Beat Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran.By far the easiet COD to date.No respawing enemies and not a thousand grenade indicators at once.

VampiricClown 11-30-2009 06:08 PM

Left 4 Dead (8th Time)

Straker 12-03-2009 05:25 AM

PLayed through all the campaigns on L4D2 now. Doesn't have the impact of the first, but overall its a better and more polished game.

cheebacheeba 12-13-2009 07:04 AM

Uncharted 2.
They've improved upon the first...epic storyline, great voice acting, super-realistic locales that borderline with fantasy in areas, an actual workable H2H combat system this time, some VERY tense battle scenes, and an appropriate level of challenge.
Graphically (to confirm) fucking superb, this in my opinion is the best looking game on the PS3 to date.
...Oh, and a "real" boss fight.

Self contained storyline doesn't require a playthrough of the first, everything is covered well enough to slide into the game, but those that have played and loved the first one, you'll be taking that to another level.
Absolutely a pleasure to play through beginning to end, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The Mothman 12-26-2009 03:03 PM

Saints Row 2
a blast all the way through.

sopater 12-30-2009 10:18 PM

NzBigC 01-31-2010 12:16 AM

Resident Evil 5 aswell.

Finished a few levels in L4D2 while I was at a friends, but I suppose you couldnt say that is completing the game.

ManchestrMorgue 02-13-2010 03:11 AM

Borderlands on the PC.

Absolutely loved this game.

It was a bit disappointing that there is a bug that causes it to crash when you kill the final boss if your weapon is scoped. Killed it twice, only to crash to desktop and have to start that battle again before I found out the way to stop it from crashing.

This bug happened with Win7 64bit. Not sure if other versions are affected.
