I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics again. This game is hard as hell, but it's one of the few I can go back to over and over again.

Dante'sInferno 12-01-2005 11:12 AM

Socom 2:cool:

Despare 12-19-2005 03:55 PM

Just started Killer 7, I didn't know what to expect but I'm hooked and the game is GREAT.

Dante'sInferno 12-23-2005 05:40 PM

Half life 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cheebacheeba 12-25-2005 04:32 PM

I have been playing Far Cry....what a long, difficult game. Not TOO difficult, but I'm usually more than profficient with my FPS games, and this one just kicks my ass.

I'm looking next to get a certain game...not sure of the name, but I know you can play multiple roles in it, eg: you play as the killer, a detective, a cop, or a priest? Something like that? Either way it looks interesting, gruesome, and great....Anyone know what the fuck I'm talking about??? Farenheit is the name I think, anyone?

The_Return 12-25-2005 06:16 PM

Here Cheeb:

Plot - "The term "interactive movie" is justly associated with misguided attempts at combining games and film. Fahrenheit's cinematic leanings, however, incorporate the elements that make movies different (characters, tension and plot) with well thought-out game mechanics, and the result is uniquely thrilling. For no apparent reason, ordinary people are killing total strangers. Although there are no direct links between the murders, they all show the same ritual patterns. Lucas Kane becomes one of these murderers, and haunted by strange visions he must try to keep one step ahead of the police to discover what is happening to him. Inspector Carla Valenti and Agent Tyler Miles are heading up the investigation. A series of disturbing clues takes them into a world they can only dream of. Meanwhile the early onset of winter paralyses Manhattan in an unbearable grip of snow and cold. Each day the temperature drops as the winter conditions draw over the dark streets of New York..."

Everyone on the site I found that on thought it was great. Sounds pretty crazy, might check it out myself....

noctuary 12-25-2005 07:12 PM

What a coincidence. I just picked myself up a used copy of Fahrenheit (called "Indigo Prophecy" here in the States) for $15! From what I've played so far, it seems to be very cool. I was a little concerned that the action sequences would be poorly done, but they seem to have pulled it off well. I don't know if I'd pay full price for it, but if you can find a copy used, check it out.

Gun for the XBox, great game and while it's short the huge amount of side missions make up for the length and I liked the story.

The_Return 12-28-2005 06:48 PM

Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64

i picked up the box and a couple of games from a junk shop for my kid .. and he freaking loves it ..

(i have to admit i kind of like it myself)

the point of the game is that you're onan island taking photos of pokemon .. the better the picture the more points you get .. and there are little tricks and things to get them to pose or get closer to you ..

it's pretty cool - it basically teaches photography to kids .. how to frame your picture, get interesting poses, etc ...

one of the smarter games i've seen .. at least as a very well disguised learning tool ..

The_Return 01-18-2006 02:54 PM

I beat that game!! Heheh...I loved the Volcano level

I usually finish a game within 10 days,sometimes a few hours.

Depends on how much interest I have in the game.

The_Return 01-27-2006 07:49 AM

10 days makes sence...but hours:eek:.

My record is I think 3 days on X-Men: Legends

I agree that heīs good and very promising. But he isnīt fast enough or good enough with the puck right now for me to keep with that kind of salary.

Right now iīve got my eye on the Right wing IVAN NOVOSELTSEV. He seems pretty talented.... And young.

Okay in the defence.

1 line: Scott Niedermayer & Rafalski.

2: Tverdovsky & Zubov.:

Oh, and i finally got my hands in the young defence Bouwmeester last night. That was a big hit.

Rick Nash isn't good enough?????????????????

Slight difference in opinion I guess.(between you and the rest of the world)

Novoseltsev has potential but he's a 26 year old rookie so I don't know how much he'll be able to develop. You'd do better with Scott Gomez, he's also 26 but he's been in the league for 6 years already and is fast as hell and pretty damn good.

Nice defense, looks like you're into the speed guys, I usually get hitters for my first line defenders though.

The_Return 01-30-2006 08:34 PM

Just beat Evil Dead: Regeneration, now Ive gone back to King Kong.
