not shure ive heard the term "gothic" before but if you put "emo" in anything it means it's crap and is puking all over what ever genre of music its gotten its oily little talons into.

Emo is a branch of punk, but it doesn't make sense,because punk rock is loud, fast, and in your face saying fuck you, and emo is all sad and pathetic,singing about how they lost their girlfriends, whiney bitches.
