Maximum OverDrive is a classic..
(Just my opinion) Love The Semi with the Joker Face on it

Five worst flicks in my book would be

5. Jeepers Creepers - yea this one was scarey...Maybe Corney

4. Fear Dot Com- need I really explain why.

3. Ghost Ship - only the first 10 minutes interested me(the slicing)

2. Darkness Falls- what the hell were THEY thinking?

1. Season of the Witch...Halloween 3 ---Way out in fuckin left field with that one.

Good list. I think "They" belongs somewhere in there though

I have to agree about John Carpenters "Vampires". Wasn't a horrible movie, wasn't the greatest either though. Think the major problem is that once Mr Carpenter puts his name on something people have some pretty high expectations for the movie, so anything short of awesome is a bit of a let down.

The worst horror movie that I can remember seeing has to be Halloween 3 : Season of the Witch. That movie blew goats. The worst part is that I haven't seen it in like 10 years, but still get that damn "Six more days till halloween, halloween, halloween. Six more days till halloween, halloween, halloween. Happy Costumes!" jingle that played throughout the movie stuck in my head.

Makes me want to pop out my eyeballs and scoop out my brains through the sockets with a spoon...

1. feardotcom (for being a blatant ring ripoff)
2. house of the dead
3. the haunting (remake)
4. Bones (snoop is a knob)
5. the Mangler (even the Englund, in all of his cackling, maniacal, leering, glory could save this trash)

I hate high budget horror that completely blows it. It may sound like common sense, but I'm much more forgiving to lower budget movies than I am to high budget ones. And out of all the movies mentioned on here that I disagree with, the ones I mostly disagree with are Halloween 3, TCM 2, and Creepshow.
Since no one has come to the defense of Creepshow, I'll say this: any movie where a zombie comes out of the grave not two seconds after whiskey is dumped onto said grave, is awesome. It's as though the whiskey has brought dear ol dad out of retirement and back up to his old tricks of keeping down his kids.

And I don't know if anyone has said this or not, but the whole pagan/Wicker Man vibe Halloween 3 gets at the end is great. I honestly couldn't give two shits if double M was in it. In fact, some of the other movies in the franchise would probably have been better off if they would have just left him out of it.

Scream 2 & 3 (but the first Scream rules)
I know or still know what you did last summer (just plain weak)
House of the Dead (possibly one of the worst movies ever)
Blair Witch 2 (ditto)
Disturbing Behavior (I kinda hoped it would be cool...it wasn't)

I sure there's tons more out there that need to be skewered.
Alot of peope loved "House of 1000 Corpses" including people who's opinions I trust but I thought this was a stupid self-indulgent gore-fest. But it did make me kinda sick, like really physically ill, and if that was the point then it succeeded.

BTW: Killer Klowns rules, Creepshow rules and Max. Overdrive rules and it wasn't Chuck Sheen...it was his brother Emilio Estevez (the jock from Breakfast Club).

1) The Village
2) The Village
3) The Village
4) The Village
5) The Village

sure .. it DOESNT belong here because it's not a horror.
But it was marketed as one.
Its a sheep in wolf's clothing.
