Arguably one of the best of his companions. It happened a few days back, but I forgot to post it here. RIP Elisabeth Sladen :(

I'm already missing Elisabeth Sladen. She was the first Doctor's companion that I saw growing up, and she made a great impression. I'm very sad about this.

What actually happened to Elisabeth Sladen? I was gobsmacked when I saw the dedication to her on the new episode of Doctor Who.

William Campbell, a veteran TV actor who starred in television series from "Gunsmoke to "Star Trek" to "Perry Mason," and was married to President John F. Kennedy paramour Judith Campbell Exner, has died of natural causes.

He was 87.

Campbell died Friday at the Motion Picture & Television Fund's hospital in the San Fernando Valley, according to media reports.

Campbell worked steadily through the 1960s and 1970s in a long line of television series.

He had film roles in the 1950s, such as "Man in the Vault," with Anita Ekberg, and also appeared in 'Dementia: 13," Francis Ford Coppola's early horror film.

Campbell met JFK's lover Judith Exner, then Judith Immoor, in 1952 at a party when she belonged to "the young Hollywood set," according to the Los Angeles Times. They married that year and divorced in 1958. She died in 1999.

Campbell is survived by his wife, Tereza, whom he married in 1963.

It was a week ago now but John Sullivan, writer of Only Fools and Horses and (according to Wikipedia) some sketches for The Two Ronnies died.

The Only Fools and Horses spin-offs were crap, but the original is still hilarious today!

Oh my goodness, that's one of the most bizarre and depressing deaths I have read on here. That's so sad that someone so amazing would die alone like that. :(

Geezbus...

Many famous Indian actresses of the 50s, 60s and 70s have died alone with no one coming forward to even claim their bodies, and finally the police had to complete their last rites.

But I have never heard of or seen such a tragic end. Poor woman! :(
