What are your most loved slasher films and why?

I like so many of them but Im going to go with John Carpenters Halloween, that film still sticks with me to this day as a classic and I watch it every Halloween.:D

Agreed, I have the blood bag edition of Ichi, insanely cool.

Halloween, The Burning, FF13th, NOES, TCM, Prowler, Terror Train, Hills have Eyes, Childs Play, Puppet Master, Slaughterhouse, Bloody Valentine,, so many great titles.

All friday the 13th (the new 1 being at the top) loved how they've started over, puppet master, bruiser (if you count it as slasher)
I have the sleepaway camp box set which was sent to me instead of south park, never returned it though, not opened it either, maybe I should start on them tonight :)
