True, but like in all issues, there are lines that shouldn't be crossed. You can take anything too far to an extreme.

Apparently she was banned because:

Ya it appears, you weren't the only one in the wrong, as we were lead to believe, because the next day he banned her as well. Apparently it was just a heated arguement?:confused: If we banned everyone that got into arguements like that here, there'd be no one left:p

should not be tolerated for a single moment. - It may offend some of you, it may not offend some of you, I myself couldn't give half a fuck.
However, in the interest of the site, this kind of bullshit leads to one of two things happening.

1 - Potential new members may be offended, and may end up not joining...and if there's a lack of anything in here, it's good posters. This shit does reflect on us as a "community" so to speak. We do need more membere at the moment though, so in this case, it's either "put up with existing bullshit" OR "increase the potential of more quality posters by removing the problems that MAY keep them away."

2 - Or, alternatively, we could leave these guys in here, and perhaps gain new members by people simply reacting badly, and posting only to argue...more ongoing bullshit.

I admit, I argued with Bane for quiet some time, him and the whole asshole crew, who just decided to hate me for no apparent reason other than agreeing with eachothers ignorant bullshit...this went on for days, a few weeks even. Yet the whole time, I got to post in maybe two NEW threads - why? - because these people had succeeded in making quiet a few others leave, and most likely also prevented new members from signing up to do anything but fight.
Anyways, that's all over now...

Simply put, I feel the situation would improve with the removal of the people who start fights or make insults on the basis of
A, B or C.
They come back and complain and/or challenge admin authority (the new hobby of these assholes), just ban them again...
Everyone has the right to speak openly, I would hate it if that were taken away.
Some people breach topics that others may find distasteful, yet others may find interesting to discuss. some people just post shit that offends almost anyone, with, or without the intention of doing so.
But that's what moderation is, having to make that call.
I feel that a clear establishment of ground rules, deletion of posts and warnings are a good start...If these things are clearly disregarded, then hell yeah, ban them. They get banned 3 times, IP ban 'em...

the only reason i say the thing i say is i hate when idiots come on here and do it on purpose and they change their names so we think its someone else.....im not stupid and i wasnt born yesterday and i can tell when 2 people are the same.....thats why i lay into the n00bs.....they laid into me when i first came here (sam and evis) and now im taking the torch and passing it along....so im not trying to be an asshole or anything im just being truthful
