The way I see it the guy's the one in need of help the most. The woman's being raped, but he's gettin killed.

Seriously, all grandstanding aside, first call the police--but I'd have a hard time leaving the scene with the girl in trouble. The guy has 5 or 6 guys tearing him a new one--I can't do a thing for him, unless I had a weapon of some sort, and even then it's probably not enough. I don't think I could leave the girl though knowing there was the possibility that I could stop it. That's not out of any chivalry; my odds of not getting killed are much better with only two assailants instead of 6, and my conscience would make me do something, as futile as it may be.

We should go help beat up the man instead then go point and laugh at the woman being raped.

I would go for the girl then call the police and hope that the man survives. But, when I got done saving the woman and calling the police, I would see if the man was still alive and if he was, I would TRY to help him. Based of facts: These people attack in groups, so they're probably individually weak. I have some Tae Kwon Doe training and my brother taught me some moves when he was in the marines. If they've been kicking his ass for a good ten minutes they would probably be tired and look at yourself, you've gotten to the pissed off point where your adreniline is pumping. I don't know about you all, but when I get pissed off I can do some scary shit. I'm not trying to sound badass, and I'm very calm regularly, but when I get like that I black out. So if people's lives were at stake there is no telling what I would do. Plus I'm a pretty big fucking guy. I would gladly save both and have a broken bone and some bruises and by that time, the police would be there. When I get well, I would never go back there again. I would also ask how the people I saved were.
