When I did that it automatically took me to the 1990's version's page. Weird.

IMDB does that with some films-it's happened to me a few times.

In fact I think this movie is the reason why so many of my friends have a fear of clowns.

When I got older and watched it I did not think it was that big of a deal. Rather corny actually. Especially the ending with the bike. Yuck!

Clowns are always scary. I never liked them as a kid, and that was before I ever read or saw IT! And, yeah, Pennywise the dancing clown didn't help me love them any more.

IT the miniseries started off well, but it really kind of fell apart and the ending was totally lame. Hopefully the remake does it well.

Very few of King's novels have been turned into great movies. Some may say the Shining is the best of his works to make it to the big screen, but my favorite is the Dead Zone. (Stand by Me is excellent, but discounting that here since it's non-horror.)

Any other favorites?

But most people would agree that Shawshank Redemption is the best King adaption ever. Coz it is. :D

No you're wrong dude. Everyone knows Maximum Overdrive is the finest SK feature.
