I am thinking Talia might make an appearance in the next one, and/or Harley Quinn.

From what I have heard about Chris Nolan, he ACTUALLY checks out comic fans' message-boards and their discussions after they have seen his adaptations and plans a script for his next movie accordingly. I must say the man does some pretty good and solid homework.

Damn...now I'm REALLY going to have to pimp Black Mask.

$161.3 million, in 3 days.

And counting.

That would make the character draw parallels with The Joker. Knowing Nolan, he will go in an entirely different route for the next one.

The hints for Two Face are amply evident. I am thinking he might prefer Hugo Strange, out of the rest...even over Black Mask.

I can't read anything about this movie because I won't be able to see it until this weekend.

But from what I have heard (not much, since I am desperately trying to avoid spoilers obviously), I won't be disappointed. :)

The Riddler thing was tipped off to me through the Mr. Reese/Mystery thing, but if you look at the character, everything fits perfectly.

- He works for Wayne Industries, which is seen in more than one version of Riddler.

- He has a damn good idea who Batman is, and judging by the look he gave Wayne after the Lamborghini crash, he's still a little pissed.

- He's shown to be pretty smart + resourceful.

- Looks the part PERFECTLY.

- After a close call like that, orchestrated by someone like The Joker, you're bound to lose it a little bit.

- And, of course, there's the fact that Gary Oldman already pretty much conformed that Riddler was the next villain. I can dig up a link to the interview if you're so inclined, but I'm sure you've all read it by now.

I know there's more, but thats all I can think of for the moment.

As for Tiny Lister...if he's being set for up anything, it's Killer Croc, not Bane. That shit on his neck looked more like a skin condition that an tattoo. I've never seen a tattoo like that...

I heard somebody mention that the schizo Joker goon that Harvey was interrogating - the one with the Rachel Dawes badge - was supposed to be a set-up for Mad Hatter, but I cant quite figure that one out. Did anybody catch something that I didn't?

Personally, I think they're trying to set up Batgirl / Oracle in some way. In both this movie and Batman Begins, they mention Gordon's daughter constantly, but NEVER show her. Even when his family is kidnapped, she's attached to her mother and you just barely see the back of her head. Nolan's said that he'd never have Robin in his films, but has he ever mentioned Batgirl? Besides, I think that whole kidnapping thing would give her more than enough reason to want to fight crime...I'm against the idea myself, but I can see it happening.

Anyway, I'm still pushing for Black Mask as the next villain...so fucking perfect for Nolan's world. Who would play him though? Joaquin Phoenix? Guy Pearce? Maybe Rufus Sewell?

Thank you, Return!

I dunno how they'd pull it off in the style they've sone the last two films, but I'd be interested in seeing a big screen version of Clayface. I think they'd be able to do Ventriloquist quite. Imagine how creepy they could make Scarface the Dummy.

Is it too intense for a 7 year old boy? I want to go, but my kid will flip if I don't bring him...consensus here?

Depends on if he can take a dark, gritty and black-humor loaded version of Batman. Its basically more of a crime-thriller, than a superhero movie.

It's intense alright...very intense in the middle and towards the climax.

If I was his mother, I would not let him see it.
