He could at least fix all of the screw ups that occured during the 'upgrades'...And it would be nice if the mods that he appointed had the tools they need to do the things that need to be done, if no one else will do them...We lost many of the few abilities we DID have...We are even more limited as to what we can do now...Makes things a bit difficult...Like trying to hammer a nail with a pickle...
Horror used to hang out with us here the first year he added the forum. He signed in everyday, talked to us about stuff, just a regular member like everyone else, and a pretty cool guy, too...Then, things started to get difficult...FBI and all kindsa garbage...Horror dealt with that issue, and quite well...BUT...After that, he started appointing mods (we never had a mod until then...and we didn't need one either...We had NEVER had any problems here until then, and Horror has NO idea what sort of problems we've had to deal with the last 4 years, he seriously has no clue whatsoever), and he stopped showing up...After he had added 5 moderators, he said, "let me know if you need anything"...So we told him a couple things that needed fixing, and we never heard from him again until the 'upgrades' that caused many MORE problems, to which he said, "Let me know if there are any bugs so I can fix them", then we never heard anything about it again...Or at least I haven't...Zwoti might have, but I doubt it because nothing has been fixed...
Anyway, my point is...This forum belongs to its members now...The members are the ones who spend their time here and make it active...V is the one who helps to keep things moving, lively and fun, he puts more effort into it than any of us do...Horror doesn't have the first clue what this forum or its members are about anymore, and it certainly doesn't seem like he has any desire to either...So, I'm still a little miffed that he messed things up here and left it that way...If he doesn't want to participate in the forum that's fine, but if something isn't broken, it shouldn't be 'fixed'...NOW it's broken...
Think of it this way...What if you rented your home?...You paid your rent every month through the mail so you haven't seen or heard from your landlord in 4 years...You KNOW he's been around because he mows the grass while you're at work, yet when your faucet breaks you call him and call him and he never answers the phone...Then one day after 4 years, you walk in your house, and every room has been painted a different color...Red, Green, Orange, HIDEOUS...AND now your back door has a new lock on it, a BETTER lock for your safety...BUT, YOU don't have the keys for that lock and it's the kind that can't be unlocked from the inside or outside without a key...And...It's locked...You find a note that tells you about how he knows you'll love the colors because those are his favorites along with information about all the marvelous aspects of this new lock, and a 'P.S.' that says "let me know if you need anything"...So, you're a bit unhappy, and after 6 months of requesting a key with no response whatsoever, you figure you just have to change the damned lock yourself...
Now, before you say we don't pay for this site...'Traffic' pays for an internet site...So, time spent here, is money for the site...V has put in more than the rest of us in the last couple years, and I had amassed a ridiculous amount of hours here before the baby was born...So, I reiterate, this site belongs to Horror, but this FORUM belongs to its members
