We're just getting the delux ($70) ticket. $40 for an autograph of Wes? Wow... I guess I'll skip bringing NoES, nobodies signature alone is worth $40 to me. (I say that now, watch me pay the man...)

My hotel is ".78 miles" from the convention center. I'm almost as excited about seeing the lantern festival in chinatown, hope that's not a letdown.

Some cheap hotel, the people I'm with decided cheap was better because we won't be spending a lot of time there. Travelodge Downtown Toronto West I think...

Sounds fun, I've had a lot of people tell me how nice Toronto is so I'm pretty excited. We used to go to Windsor a lot and when we weren't going there we were doing sub-zero camping in mid to Northern Canada in fairly unpopulated areas. I can't wait to get a taste of what one person told me is "the apple of Canada's eye".

Hotel is: 621 King St. West

I was gonna suggest that if you're in Toronto, to check out the AGO. Unfortunately it's closed until November. How stupid is that? Closing an art gallery during peak tourist season?

That's kind of sad really, it must be because of renovations or something eh?

ya. they're rennovating and putting in a bunch of new installments. I had my art in the AGO as part of the in your face gallery. World record for the most portraits or self portraits in an installment. I have pics somewhere. I'll scan and put up sometime.

Wow, I had no idea you were so... accomplished. Congrats! Wish I could see them though. :(
