Videodrome had a cool ending that gets you thinking, but I guess all of Cronenberg's movies do.

Cloverfield, say what you want about it, but I thought it had a really well-done ending.

Cloverfield was an insanely good movie.

the ending was incredibly effective
(but too downbeat to be a favorite of mine)

I agree :)

I liked the ending but I didn't like the last flashback, should've left everyone with the scene before it

i thought the 'fashback' was perfect..
they already established that it was taped over a previous recording .. and the contrast of them dying together vs them on the day that they were the happiest was very fitting.

(and no - i didnt notice the satelite spashing down in the background - and neither did the film critic i was with who was seeing it for the second time :) )

*edit*

May want a spoiler warning there.

holy crap - has anyone not seen it yet ?

well, it doesn't really matter unless they somehow see it on the big screen - this movie is going to be 25% of what it was seen on TV.

I've never said this about any other movie

i added a spoiler ... now you have to because you quoted me completely

So true. I made my parents go see it just so they would *see* it.
