The Way West"
-Kirk Douglas, Robert Mitchum, Richard Widmark, Sally Field (her movie debut)

Wagon train drama about settlers heading out of Missouri and heading to Oregon and finding drama, adventure and romance along the way.

Not much action but well acted and a good solid story.

in terms of Eastwood westerns, which do you think i would prefer (looking for a movie with good action, shootouts and such, and also Tough Guy mentality) Hang Em High, High Plains Drfiter, Pale Rider, Unforgiven, or A Fistful Of Dollars?

A Fistful of Dollars, of course! You haven't seen it?

You do realize that The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is the third installment in a trilogy, right?

The Man With No Name Trilogy:

A Fistful of Dollars (1964)

For a Few Dollars More (1965)

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)

All starring Clint Eastwood as...yep, you guessed it, The Man With No Name. So if you liked Clint's character in T.G.T.B.A.T.U., you'll love him just the same in the other flicks. You've only seen a third of the awesomeness.
