Exactly! No tension, no growing dread, and no concern for the welfare of the main characters. As bad as Cabin Fever was, I liked it more than this mess.

True!

Cabin fever was betetr than both!
Hostel was a pile of crap thats the biggest thing that hit mean, it was so over rated.

SPOLIER!

And on Wolf creet would someone reply to me about when he shoots the car wheel of the car and then it tumbles upside down but then it suddenly has another bolt from now were at rights its self, please look at that area, its so dodgy. I want to write a letter ot the director about it and how they should have redone it cause it looks so fake!

Anyone agree?

I loved Wolf Creek and hated Hostel. And 'hate' is not too strong a word either. Fantastic concept, terrible execution.

I really liked WOLF CREEK. I liked the dept of the charcters and the dialog not to mention that I felt that the villian was as good a villian as I have seen in quite a while. It also seemed like somthing that could have been a real serial killer case not only in the way the script was layed out and felt but also it just pulled me into the scenes and made me want to protect the girls and kill the sick fuck myself. Really good movie.

HOSTEL was plain and simply flat out lame!!

IMO, Wolf Creek didn't have a lot to offer, but it was very different from typical horror movies so I had to give it a lot of props. I especially was pretty surprised with the ending...just didn't expect it to end in that kind of a way.

Hostel wasn't bad. Though, I expected a bit more but the storyline behind it was terrific.

I quite liked wolf creek. Reminded me a little of TCM, probably just due to it being the australian outback.

I haven't seen hostel. Just having QTs name on the front put me off.

i agree. similar atmosphere to TCM. and a really good bad guy, like TCM. the hostel, on the other hand, was described as a splatter version of american pie and i can see where they're coming from. strange how some films make you want the bad guy to get his trash taken out and others make you want the victims to get whats coming to them. i think these two films are examples of both types. definitely thought wolf creeks baddie was top notch:D
