Damn! That's Rad! Where'd You Get That?

This guy has been on the news constantly here in the Dallas area....I guess he was from Arlington, Tx.......although I've never heard of the guy it sounds like he was a big deal......at least to the HDC crowd. They showed his home in Arlington, quite scaled down for a rock star, looked like he lived in a regular neighborhood........surprised me, usually celebrities go over board with the material crap.....

argh ! Most annoying now are gun nuts bantering on the AOL news boards today :
woman SAVED by a gun
This delusional woman keeps posting her story over and over about how her husband collects guns as an investment (huh ?) and she had one in her backpack (good place to keep an investment). Two men asked her if she wanted to have sex with them and she pulled it on them.
Long story made short, as her posts continue to the cheers of other gun nuts, her story keeps changing. Now instead of the guys asking her if she'd like to have sex with them (she's 47 mind you LOL), they had somehow become rapists and were leaving her for dead in the middle of nowhere. Apparently no one else seems to notice the not so gradual change in her story. Scary to think someone who can't even keep her "story" straight is walking around armed at this moment.
Gotta love that after every time there's some kind of gun tragedy in America, the NRA seem to be the first ones on the spot crowing about how great guns are and the event should be seen as another "isolated" incident.
Don't know which is worse: them or the right-wing Christians saying he deserved it for making "devil music" on there. They seem to be going hand in hand a lot.

I don't remember the NRA releasing a statement on this shooting. And why should it? It should no more answer for the actions of one man who used a gun to commit a crime than members and devotees of similar music groups should have to answer for the behavior of one deranged fan. Neither group is responsible in any way for this man's crimes. And not all NRA members/politically-active gun owners are right-wing or Christian; that's a bullshit stereotype.
