I just got Event Horizon on VHS, plus I got a raincheck for Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.

I so love VHS. I was looking for some DVDs recently and was shocked to see that some of the stuff I wanted was out of print and people wanted twenty or thirty bucks for it. I found VHS versions of the same films for two or three bucks, and they'll do for now. VHS is cool if you're on a budget.

Or if you happen to not have a DVD player in your room, so if you want to watch a movie before bed it needs to be on VHS:p

Swat, XXX and Pitch Black are the least of the bunch, but are at least a bit entertaining. The other 3 are great. So I'd say you came out ok.

I havent seen Black Hawk Down (Not a fan of war movies), but otherwise you did very well. Especially with Creepshow.

I haven't seen it either, but it was that or moulin rouge, which I have nothing against, but I want to sticxk with action and horror for a while.

Best Buy had these and a few more good ones for $7.99 EA AND buy one get one free.

pitch black is great !

I haven't seen it in awhile and even then I wasn't totally commited, but apparently the impression that it left wasn't too great. I'll check it out again to see what I missed, saw it at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks.

i really dug it when i 1st saw it ...
i liked that it definately had a non american flavour to it (no offence) ... i was in need of something different at the time and it fit the bill nicely.
