Joy Ride 3

Watched while recovering from the flu today. If I wasn't feeling so drained I'd have plenty to say about it. But I'll try.

The first movie was definitely the best of the three. The characters were so fucking stupid and the story so dull I didn't give a rat's ass when any of them died.

The movie started off with Rusty Nail killing a couple of crack addicts, and soon followed by police looking over the scene. For a moment it looked like maybe one of the cops would be the main focus and possibly match wits with our killer at last. But naaaaah that would've been ORIGINAL.

So instead we follow the same over used at this point shtick of taking one of the pretty people from the group and using that to make the rest of the group puppets and do whatever he wants. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT. Even after member after member of the their group dies they continue to not play along with Rusty's rules.

Oh and unlike the first two where we see very little of Rusty, in this one they all but show him. At one point we can CLEARLY see his face but the shot is still filmed like we aren't supposed to notice like he's so scary cause we can't see this whimsical stranger. ::roll eyes::

Is this the one where they show where he lives?
I still think Rusty's underrated and deserves better movies.
And remember to check out Monster Man =)

I AM LEGEND (2007). While this has quite a bit going for it, an incredibly flabby script sinks it. Stick with THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (1964) instead. **1/2

I agree completely. I liked 'i am legend'. Has cool start, but definitely appears more flat and cliche when it tries to expand the plot and characters past Smith by himself.

The Loved Ones

Though it had it's flaws, I found this to be a great movie. Also the cinematography was to die for. I give it a solid 7/10.

Yeah... which makes a lot of sense showing that he survives the end of the last movie (the devil only knows how, I think he's a poltergeist at this point) but not how the fuck he survived the end of the second one where he and his rig went over a cliff. ::roll eyes::

I do love Rusty though. He and Harry are both under appreciated in the horror franchise. I was lucky to find them by accident when they should get as much recognition as the more popular horror icons like Jason and Micheal.
But yeah he needs better movies. Partial reason I disliked the third so much. Cause it had potential, but decided to go the cliche route and add characters with less brain than a houseplant.

Would this be the movie you refer to? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-O2l4z_faM

Excess Flesh, 2016. 6/10

Thumb resize.

Not sure on my feelings on this, it was sick and fucked up at times but all in all it was a bit mediocre.
